Rejoice Studio has been serving the Mississauga community since 2007. Our focus is to promote the art of music to everyone in the great city of Mississauga. Directed by Miss Tiffany Angel Kwok, Rejoice Studio offers lessons in piano study, musical theory, and classical vocal training to students of all ages.
At Rejoice Studio, we truly believe studying music is way more than just taking lessons. Music can empower everyone. Students not only will develop the technical skills and artistic expression when they play music, they will also obtain important attributes, such as commitment, perseverance and personal responsibility in whatever they want to achieve. Through the weekly assignments and RCM examinations, students will also acquire time management and goal setting skills. To us, music is more than taking lessons, it is a springboard to success.
Similar to the musical skills, the method of teaching is an art form itself. Fortunately, Miss Kwok has mastered this art through her eduation career for more than a decade. As a former high school music teacher, Miss Kwok understands each student is unique. She strongly believes there is no single "cookie-cutter" approach when it comes to teaching music. Therefore, Miss Kwok will tailor the lessons for each student based on the individual's learning style and strength. A typical weekly assignment includes:
1) Various musical pieces which develop a student's musical repertoire.
2) Special designed "Finger-Builder" excises which strengthens a student's technical skills.
3) Rudiment excises which reinforces a student's understanding in musical theory.
The ultimate goal of this approach is to make the learning process both effective and enjoyable.
